SAPP: DAP obviously failed and dodging

Kota Kinabalu, 15 July 2023: According to a press release issued by the Chief Liaison Officer of the Kota Kinabalu Parliamentary Office, it is obvious that Democratic Action Party (DAP) has failed to deliver and instead engaged in diversionary tactics.

Voters are eager to know whether their elected Members of Parliament (MPs) have made any efforts to ensure the full disbursement of allocated funds. However, DAP's Parliamentary Office has been evasive and has resorted to baseless accusations, refusing to address whether the promised fund (for water supply) and development projects (for Sandakan, which said to worth RM2.28 billion) under the Pakatan Harapan-led federal government have been fully disbursed and implemented.

"If voters were to personally visit the office to inquire about the same issues, they would likely face similar treatment: verbal abuse and no answers from DAP's representatives."

As Members of Parliament in the Pakatan Harapan coalition, if DAP cannot persuade their own coalition leader (who is also the Finance Minister) to expedite the disbursement of allocated funds to Sabah, but instead expects leaders from other alliances to intervene, then what is their purpose?

Ultimately, when responsibilities are neglected, an apology to the people should be offered, and solutions should be sought. Resorting to empty rhetoric and baseless arguments is of no benefit to the public.
